Senator Charles E. Schumer announced today that Congress passed
the Fiscal Year 2005 Omnibus Appropriations bill which included
$100,000 in federal funds for Cazenovia College. The funds were
included in the Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations
section of the bill. The bill will proceed to the President to be
signed into law.
"Cazenovia College has a reputation of training some of the
best and brightest in the Art and Design," Schumer said."This
funding will help students and teachers not only meet and exceed
industry standards, but position themselves early in their careers
as professional leaders."

at Cazenovia College. Graduates of their programs are employed throughout
New York State, the Northeast, nationally, and globally in fields
ranging from fashion and interior design, to marketing and studio
of commercial illustration. Cazenovia College would use the funds
to purchase technical equipment, furniture, and supplies for their
new art and design academic building. The college's art Art and
Design programs focus on student preparation in aesthetics, with
an economic accent.
