AIRPORT
New Bus Service Will Connect
North Country to Low Cost Air Service
US Senator Charles E. Schumer issued the following
statement on Adirondack Trailways' decision to add Albany International
Airport as a stop on its Canton to Albany service:
"I am elated that residents in the North Country will now
have the opportunity to enjoy the great air service and low cost
prices that the Capital Region has been enjoying all summer since
Southwest started flying out of Albany. The new service will be
a great convenience for folks who live in the Adirondacks.
"We still need to encourage even better air service to the
regional north country airports, but today's announcement is terrific
news for the area. I look forward to more good news in the future."
Trailways currently stops in Malone, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake,
Lake Placid, Lake George, Glens Falls and Saratoga.
