On August 16th, 2021, less than a week after the Schumer-negotiated Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework passed in the Senate, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer visited the Community Free Library in the Village of Holley to announce that Orleans County plans to use a portion of its $7.83 million in American Rescue Plan-allotted funding in partnership with neighboring Niagara County to build out high-speed internet access in the two counties.
