\nOn February 22, 2011, Schumer visited the Brown's Brewing Company to discuss the BEER Act. The BEER Act would cut the Federal Excise tax imposed on small breweries in half. With an increase in their revenue small breweries across New York will be able to expand, hire or reinvest in their companies. Schumer was joined by owner Garry Brown, County Exec Jimino, and Mayor Tutunjian.
