Homes for Heroes provides housing to homeless veterans and wounded warriors coming home from overseas. Senator Schumer toured the apartments that are move-in ready and stressed that this is just phase one. Schumer said that one homeless veteran is one too many, and more apartments for our vets will be built in the coming years. He was joined by Rockland County Legislator John Murphy.</p>"}}
