SCHUMER ANNOUNCES OVER $880,000 IN ECONOMIC RECOVERY FUNDS FOR ROME LABORATORY
Job-Creating Funds will go for Roof Construction and Facility Improvement Projects
U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer today announced that the Rome Laboratory will receive a total of $881,000 in funding from the recently enacted economic recovery package that he helped pass. The funding for Rome Laboratory will go towards
roof construction and repair.
"This is great news for Rome Laboratory," said Schumer. "This recovery funding will create jobs and boost the local economy while improving the quality of life for residents in the area
."
The specific projects for which the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will provide funds as follows for Rome laboratory:
• $387,000 to
Repair Roof Logistics Facility
• $494,000 to
Repair Roof Logistics Facility
