Schumer, Clinton Announce Over $89,000 For Massena International-Richards Field Airport
Federal Funds Will Be Used For Taxiway Rehabilitation
U.S. Senators Charles E. Schumer and Hillary Rodham Clinton today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $89,965 in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funds to Massena InternationalRichards Field Airport in St. Lawrence County. The funds will be used for taxiway rehabilitation.

I will continue to fight for federal funds to help the airport become a thriving center of activity and a hub for economic growth in the region."

The Massena InternationalRichards Field Airport will use the federal dollars for the rehabilitation of Taxiway D. The pavement is in poor condition and requires rehabilitation to ensure safe aircraft operations.
