SCHUMER STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF WORLD-RENOWNED DOCTOR AND SCHUMER’S RELATIVE DR. SEYMOUR SCHWARTZ

Following the recent passing of Rochester’s Dr. Seymour Schwartz, relative of Senator Chuck Schumer, Schumer issued the following statement:

“Dr. Seymour Schwartz was a true renaissance man if there ever was one. He was a great surgeon, educator, teacher, and cartographer, and I was blessed to call him family. Just as Uncle Sy’s innumerable accomplishments and his pivotal impact throughout Rochester and beyond will live on forever, so too will his memory.”
