Senator Schumer is happy to assist New Yorkers with the purchase of flags flown over the U.S. Capitol building. These flags can be used to celebrate notable occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, Eagle Scout ceremonies, retirements, or other special events. We offer nylon and cotton flags in various forms. Processing time can range from four to six weeks. Please provide three weeks’ notice if you would like your flag flown on a specific date. If a specific date is not requested, the flag will be flown within two weeks of when the request is received. Please note that flags are priced at cost and our office does not profit from this service.
